Abstract
"A validating study was carried out on the Pascal-Suttell scoring system of the Bender-Gestalt test. The records of 96 psychiatric patients were scored, and it was found that this technique differentiated psychotic from nonpsychotic records by meeting statistical criteria and, in a limited way, practical criteria. An incidental finding is that psychotic patients took more time in reproducing the designs than did nonpsychotic patients. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)
