Abstract
Three [human] cases, 2 certain and 1 suspected, of allergy [urticaria and asthma] to the complex salts of Pt, are presented. A review of the literature, with special reference to the possible immunological mechanisms involved, and the possible diagnostic tests are given. The use of Pt antitumor compounds and their allergenic potency are briefly described. Proposals for preemployment examinations and for regular medical checkups of exposed workers are given. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
