Abstract
Summary: A review of 28 patients with pregnancy associated with congenital heart disease showed the absence of significant adverse influence of the lesions described on maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. The incidence of 0.2% is comparable to reports from Western Countries. It is suggested that the generally benign nature of this complication in pregnancy was related to the presence of a number of favourable factors in our patients; these factors are discussed. Keywords
