Presentation of CaseA fifty-four-year-old woman entered the hospital because of abdominal pain.Two years previously there was an episode of dull, steady, aching pain in the lumbar region, with radiation to the left groin. The pain was unrelated to position, bowel movements or urination. During the year before admission three or four similar episodes occurred.
