Abstract
The mass flow in adsorbed layers of helium has been measured. Superfluidity occurs at all temperatures below the -temperature of the bulk liquid down to 1½ statistical layers. The bearings of these results on the thermodynamics of transition HeI—HeII in adsorbed layers is discussed.
