Abstract
The application of the name Cordyceps puiggarii* Speg. is discussed. It is concluded that it applies to a wasp closely related to C. humberti. The fungus on beetles for which Spegazzini also employed the name is considered to be C. curculionum. C. subsessilis* on coleopterous larvae in N. America is redescr. A descr. of a collection of C. peltata* from the Barbados is given. Stilbum burmense n. sp. on an ant from Burma and Polycephalomyces paludosus* n. sp. on a lepidopterous larva from Michigan are descr. A n. name Hymenostilbe australien-sis (Stilbum formicarum Cooke and Massee) and a n. comb. Polycephalomyces ramosus* (Stilbum ramosum Peck) are proposed.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
