Abstract
The budding cells of diploid yeast [Saccharomyces cerevisiae] are more resistant than the stationary-phase cells to the induction of lethality by .alpha.- and .gamma.-radiations. The dependence of the response to .alpha. radiation on growth phase is about 87% of that for .gamma.-radiation. Further, the budding cells are more resistant than the stationary phase cells for the induction of heteroallelic reversion by .gamma.-rays.This publication has 18 references indexed in Scilit:
