Post-Traumatic Fistula of the Aorta, Pulmonary Artery and Right Ventricle

Abstract
A case is described in which a traumatic intracardiac fistula was found to involve the aorta, pulmonary artery and right ventricle, forming a lesion which has not previously been reported. The course of this patient emphasized the value of repeated attempts to establish an exact diagnosis by means of cardiac catheterization, angiocardiography, and external and internal phonocardiography. With an accurate preoperative diagnosis repair at open cardlotomy was accomplished without difficulty.
