Abstract
The Cannabis problem was considered in this paper and the potential danger of the drug to individuals and to the Society was emphasized. Brazilian hemp is biologically active and the intensity of its action in animals and human beings depends, as usual, on different factors as the source, ageing process and dryness condition of the sample at hand. Despite the argument that our marihuana is less active than the oriental one, a statement sti1l awaiting for comparative bioassays, coercitive measures must be reinforced in order to prevent expansion of this drug addiction. This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
