Abstract
Three experiments explore the hypothesis that food preferences in adult rats are biased in favor of the type of solid food first experienced in infancy. Criteria of adult preferences are the amount of a food eaten and the reward value of a food in a learning situation. All 3 experiments offer evidence counter to the hypothesis. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
