Abstract
This paper reviews the recently aroused interest in the possibility of environmental pollution by EHV installations and whether they have any biological and psychological effects. Recent electrical, medical, and psychological research papers are reviewed and the results are analyzed. EHV clearances, safety, health hazards, pollution, and energy conservation in bulk power transportation are tabulated and compared. Keywords
