Abstract
In this paper we have shown that nitrogen is not adsorbed upon a (110) face of a nickel crystal at room temperature. In previous experiments it has been found that nitrogen is not adsorbed upon more densely packed crystal planes and upon polycrystalline surfaces. The new result extends the conclusion to the more open and chemically active (110) face. Keywords
