Abstract
A simple formalism, based on the Goldstone-boson equivalence theorem, is described for calculating O( /) radiative corrections in the standard model. We apply this method to heavy-Higgs-boson decays and find that the dominant decay rates Γ(H→ ) and Γ(H→ZZ) are enhanced by a factor 1+(/8)(/) (19/16-3)/8√3 π+(5/48). The same enhancement applies to heavy-Higgs-boson production from and ZZ fusion. Corrections of O(ln) are also briefly discussed.
