Radiative corrections to heavy-Higgs-scalar production and decay

Abstract
A simple formalism, based on the Goldstone-boson equivalence theorem, is described for calculating O(g2 mH2/mW2) radiative corrections in the standard model. We apply this method to heavy-Higgs-boson decays and find that the dominant decay rates Γ(H→W+ W) and Γ(H→ZZ) are enhanced by a factor 1+(g2/8π2)(mH2/mW2) (19/16-3)/8√3 π+(5/48π2). The same enhancement applies to heavy-Higgs-boson production from W+ W and ZZ fusion. Corrections of O(g2lnmH) are also briefly discussed.
