Abstract
Single applications of either 6-benzyladenine or zeatin to inhibited axillary buds of intact, light-grown seedlings of Pisum sativum L. cv Black-eyed Susan, resulted in the formation of rapidly elongating, leafy shoots. Similar treatment with kinetin or isopentenyladenine caused only limited but outgrowth which stopped 6 days after application. Keywords
