Abstract
Mississippian or Mis sissippianinspired elements have long been identified in sites along the Plains-Prairie border. Coupled with available Carbon- 14 dates , the distribution of traits oftenr egarded as Missis sippianissuggestive of a system of interr elationships which may be important to further understanding of late PlainsPrairie prehistory.Keywords
