Abstract
A simple, rapid, reproducible HPLC method is described for the analysis of creatinine in human plasma and urine. Creatinine is isolated from plasma proteins prior to HPLC analysis by ultrafiltration using a micropartition system. The technique requires only 0.2 ml of plasma and the recovery of creatinine is complete. Results from the HPLC analysis are compared with those from an automated (colorimetric) analysis. The retention time of creatinine is 2.6 min. Keywords
