Abstract
An equilibrium structure and an empirical anharmonic force field based on an ab initio surface are obtained using available experimental vibration–rotation data. Four of the six harmonic and four of the ten cubic force constants have been determined experimentally. The remaining values have been fixed at the ab initio values. A good fit to high resolution experimental data is obtained. Keywords
