Abstract
A theory of the angular resolved photoemission from localized adsorbate orbitals is presented in which the effects of the final state are discussed in detail. Numerical results show a strong dependence of the energy-resolved angular distribution on the symmetry of the bonding orbitals and on the geometry of the adsorption site. Keywords
