Abstract
Techniques are described for the evaporation of homogeneous alloy films from a single source. InTl, a substance whose components have very different vapor pressures, and PbBi, whose components have more similar vapor pressures, were successfully deposited as thin films by these techniques. Comparisons of superconducting transition temperatures with published data confirm that the films are indeed homogeneous. Keywords
