Abstract
Summary: Benign cysts of the spleen are rare. Six cases have been managed in this hospital in the past 25 years. The history, physical findings and investigations are reviewed. It is suggested that splenectomy is the treatment of choice as it carries a low morbidity and mortality. Keywords
