Abstract
Fat content includes the total ether-extractable material expressed as a percentage of the dry weight. Total fat and rate of accumulation by resistant and susceptible weevils was approximately equal. Unfed boll-reared weevils were fatter than unfed square-reared weevils and the difference was evident throughout the 20-day feeding period. Boll-weevils accumulated more fat when fed on young bolls, lesson blossoms and least on squares. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
