Abstract
The doublet distribution functions are obtained by solving the Rice—Allnatt equations for binary dense fluid mixtures. With the doublet distribution functions and the singlet distribution functions obtained in this article and a previous article of the same series, explicit expressions for all the transport coefficients of binary dense fluid mixtures are derived. A comparison of our results with the original Rice—Allnatt results, which differ somewhat from ours, and with experimental data is given, and the correspondence between our results and those of some other kinetic theories is discussed. Keywords
