Abstract
A liquid hydrogen cooled field ion microscope has been employed to supplement x-ray and electrical resistivity studies of the ‘K-state’ in Ni-Mo alloys. Both Ni-14 a/o Mo containing quenched-in short-range order and fully ordered Ni4Mo have been successfully imaged making it feasible to carry out in situ ordering experiments. Several types of anti-phase domain boundaries were apparent in the Ni4Mo images; however, a detailed analysis requires further work. Keywords
