Abstract
A rapid and efficient method for synthesis of unsymmetrical ketones involves reaction of sodium tetraphenylborate with aroyl chlorides in the presence of catalytic amount Pd(PPh3)2Cl2 under microwave irradiation to give the corresponding phenyl ketones 3a–j in 87–98% yield. Keywords
