Abstract
A 40-year-old Australian Aboriginal female presented with hemoptysis in association with a right upper zone pulmonary and mediastinal mass. Several syphilitic infections in the patient had been documented during the previous 16 years. Death was due to a large hemoptysis, and autopsy revealed that the mass in the chest was a right subclavian artery aneurysm which had ruptured into the lung parenchyma. Keywords
