Abstract
The index of refraction of hydrogen bromide has been measured between 1 and 10 microns. The data have been interpreted to provide values of the electric moment (μ) and the variation of the electric moment with internuclear distance (dμ/dr). The reported values are μ=(0.82±0.04)×10—18 e.s.μ and dμ/dr=(0.48±0.04)×10—10 e.s.μ.Keywords
