Abstract
In swimming zoospores, Golgi-derived adhesive vesicles contain glycoprotein. Cytochemical techniques visualize polysaccharide in adhesive vesicles and Golgi cisternae only after detachment from the Golgi stack while inosine diphosphatase (IDP-ase) and thiamine pyrophosphatase (TPP-ase) are localized in both the Golgi bodies and detached cisternae. In young settled cells, the Golgi bodies, abstricted vesicles and cell wall all show identical staining reactions and IDP-ase and TPP-ase are found in the Golgi bodies and endoplasmic reticulum. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
