Abstract
Magnetic and acoustic excitation of coupled magnetoelastic oscillations in a thin magnetic film were investigated. The amplitudes and effective relaxation parameters of the resonance peaks of the magnetic and acoustic components of magnetoelastic oscillations were calculated. The following were analyzed in detail: (1) generation of hypersound in the nonmagnetic rod by means of a thin magnetic film sputtered onto the end of the rod (the conversion m→p); (2) generation of spin waves in the magnetic film by means of hypersound wave which is incident from the rod (the conversion p→m); and (3) double conversion m→p→m (echo-spectrum).This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
