Superconductivity in AIVBVI Semiconductor Compounds with Quasilocal Impurity States

Abstract
Superconductivity in an impurity band is studied with reference to tin telluride doped with indium. A theoretical model is put forward, which relates a high critical temperature of the low carrier density IV-VI compounds doped with group-III elements to the interaction between the lattice and quasilocal impurity states.
