Abstract
Separable potential forms which lead to on-energy-shell partial-wave transition amplitudes for two-body scattering which have analyticity properties very similar to those proved in local potential theory are studied. An explicitly energy-dependent potential form is shown numerically to give a better approximation to the amplitude from a local Yukawa potential than the best previous form, for in the scattering region. Some remarks are made about the applicability of these potential forms to multiparticle scattering calculations.
