Abstract
American Indians define Traditional Indian Medicine (TIM) as spirituality. By facilitating an expanded spiritual awareness into ones life, first on a personal and then professional basis, TIM holds that the personal healing process is enhanced, balance of the mind, body, and spirit is better maintained, and thefoundation for a life of service is accepted. TIM espouses that the individual is responsible for his/her own healing and assists people in the process of learning how to heal themselves. Through listening and feeling based on unconditional love and living by manifesting the seven sacred aspects, TIM assists the individual in continued spiritual growth as they "walk their talk and talk their walk."Keywords
