Abstract
The possibility of subtle hazards from weak nonionizing electromagnetic fields (EMFs) has been controversial for many years, shifting over a range of issues without resolution. The confusion arises partly from the weak evidence for hazard and partly from the inconsistent and speculative nature of some of the bioeffects literature. More attention is needed to define ways to resolve the issues. Keywords
