Abstract
The reaction is studied for the cases leading to in the ground state ( MeV) and the second ( MeV), the sixth ( MeV), and the eighth ( MeV) excited states. Results are presented for the incident deuteron energies 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, and 5.5 MeV. At most energies there is a complete angular distribution ranging from 20° to 160° in steps of 10°. A distorted-wave Born-approximation analysis employing elastic-scattering parameters obtained from experiments in the region 11-16 MeV yielded good agreement with the angular shapes of the stripping data but not with their absolute magnitudes.
