Abstract
A series of previous studies have shown that electric shock applied with correct responses improves the visual discrimination learning of the albino rat. The present study confirms this empirical finding but negates the two theories designed to explain it. A revision is offered of one of the theories to make it consistent with the findings of this and other studies. Keywords
