Massive Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage into the Pancreatic Duct — Diagnosed by Duodenoscopy and ERCP

Abstract
Case report on two patients with massive hemorrhage from the pancreatic duct as proven by duodenoscopy and retrograde pancreatography. In patients with blood pouring from the orifice of the papilla of Vater retrograde ductography should be performed to prove hemobilia or hemosuccus pancreaticus. Fallbericht über zwei Patienten mit massiver Blutung aus dem oberen Verdauungstrakt. Eine duodenoskopisch erkannte arterielle Blutung aus der Vaterschen Papille und der Nachweis einer mit Blutkoageln gefüllten Pseudozyste bzw. im Lumen des Pankreasganges flottierender Koagel bestätigten die Diagnose.
