Abstract

The smectic and nematic phases of a series of liquid crystal polymers based on (I) a poly (hydrogenmethylsiloxane) backbone and (II) a poly (hydrogenmethyldimethylsiloxane) copolymer backbone have been investigated by x-ray diffraction.
