Abstract
Osteosarcomas developed after 6 or 7 months in 200 mice of the CBA strain that received an injection of Sr90. An autoradiographic study was made in order to investigate the distribution in tumors and unchanged bone-tissue of the radiostrontium that had been injected. The sections used for autoradiography were also examined by microradiography. Bone-forming Sr[registered trademark]-induced tumors were transplanted to other CBA mice and were found capable of growing in a radiostrontium-free environment. Keywords
