Abstract
The preparation and some of the pharmacological properties of a series of p-alkaxyhydrocinnamic acid esters of various steroid hormones are described. Esterification with this type of acids results in a greatly enhanced intensity and duration of steroid hormone effect. Optimal prolongation of the effect of various steroid hormones was shown to depend on the length of the p-alkoxy group. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
