Abstract
A new procedure for lactone α-methylenation is described in which α-hydroxymethyl lactones are dehydrated with cyclohexyl-3-(2-morpholinoethyl)carbodiimide metho-p-toluenesulfonate-CuCl2 in acetonitrile.Keywords
