Abstract
Summary: This report describes a man who died at the age of 43 of overwhelming pulmonary suppuration in association with pancreatic steatorrhoea. Autopsy revealed lipomatous pseudohypertrophy of the pancreas. The patient is the longest documented survivor with pulmonary complications of lipomatous pseudohypertrophy of the pancreas. The literature on this rare condition is reviewed. Keywords
