The Guillain-Barrù Syndrome

Abstract
THE purpose of this paper is to clarify the diagA nosis of the Guillain-Barré syndrome. The diagnosis has been confused by inclusion of many types of acute polyneuritis under this title. We believe, however, that one group of cases obeying strict diagnostic criteria has a characteristic clinical picture, course and prognosis.
