Abstract
"An experiment was designed to investigate the presence of cultural preferences and sex differences in the response of young adults to the human face as a standard stimulus." Subjects: 45 male and 31 female college students. Results: There were "clear cultural preferences for faces of people of peer age and younger . . ‥ The limitations that these results impose on normative data in response to standard stimuli and possibly all projective stimuli were briefly discussed."
