A Toy Model for Open Inflation

Abstract
All known versions of the open inflation scenario based on the theory of a single scalar field suffered from a fatal defect: Coleman-De-Luccia instantons describing tunneling with open universe creation in these models did not exist. We propose a simple model where this problem can be resolved and the one-field open inflation scenario can be realized. The spectrum of density perturbations in this model has a maximum on intermediate scale.
