Abstract
We survey the CP-odd asymmetries which can signal CP nonconservation in hyperon decay. The optimal measurement involves the β parameter in the decay distribution, i.e., (β+β¯)/(β-β¯), which can be quite large in some models. Explicit calculations are provided for all the observables for several theories of CP nonconservation. Keywords
