Abstract
. This paper introduces a discrete scheme for mean curvature motion using a morphologicalimage processing approach. After briefly presenting an axiomatic approach of image processingand the mean curvature PDE, the properties of the proposed scheme are studied, in particular consistencyand convergence are proved. The applications of mean curvature motion in image denoisingand form evolution are developed and experiences are presented.Key words. Image processing, morphological filters, mean ...Keywords
