Abstract
Marrow from long bones of living rabbits was replaced by inert material. Approx. 11.5 to 41 [plus or minus] 5% of the marrow was extirpated and the animals were allowed to survive from 10 days to 14 mos. Infiltration by mature and immature granulocytes of various organs occurred in animals with 37-41 [plus or minus] 5% of marrow replaced by inert material. Keywords
