Abstract
The d- and l-isomers of amidone and isoamidone inhibited the cholinesterases of both rat brain and dog serum, the effect being greater with serum cholinesterase than with brain cholinesterase. The l-isomers had a greater inhibitory effect than the corresponding d-isomers, the greatest difference being observed in the case of d- and l-isoamidone when tested on brain cholinesterase. Keywords
