Abstract
A design procedure for microstrip power dividers is presented using a waveguide model with frequency-dependent parameters and a mode-matching method. A microstrip T-junction is matched by using a compensating element similar to a quarter-wave transformer. Plots of calculated and measured scattering parameters, as well as plots of the dimensions of the compensating element against centre frequency, are given.Keywords
