Abstract
In the recent paper by Laikhtman and Solomon [Phys. Rev. B 41, 9921 (1990)] a theoretical description of the mutual-drag effect of two- and three-dimensional electron gases in heterostructures was given. In this paper a different approach based upon the concept of collective collisions between electrons is suggested. The mutual drag of two two-dimensional gases is considered briefly. Keywords
