Abstract
This paper attempts to integrate the relevant quantitative and qualitative differences in the enzymology of the cancer cell discriminating it from that of the normal cell. In cancer cells an ordered pattern of enzymatic imbalance is linked with the malignant transformation and the gradations in the expression of the neoplastic properties (progression). The metabolic imbalance confers biologic advantages on the cancer cells. This insight into the molecular biology of neoplasia singles out key enzymes as sensitive targets of anti-cancer drugs.Clinical Strategy of Treatment of Neoplastic DiseasesThe success in the treatment of infectious diseases is in contrast to the . . .This publication has 30 references indexed in Scilit:
